In this chapter, the art of creating a flipped classroom was discussed and how it is composed and what it encompasses. Also, the chapter discussed if students are given too much leeway in instruction. With the increased usage of social media, students are learning thorough social media and are learning more information than ever through what they see on social media. By using the interests of students to create an educational value, teachers can be creative and think outside of the box in providing methods in their instruction.
Refill
Focusing on the hybrid classroom, one section of the chapter stood out while reading: What should our schools aspire to be. In his section, the author brought the question on how we will see education years from now. As we transform away from the traditional classroom model, are we going to transform the areas to have no desks, with open floor plans? Or will instructi9n be solely online based? This is a question that really caught my attention as we really do not know what the future of the classroom holds for students and teacher alike. As technology and other forms of learning begin to take hold, we must really consider the future and what it means for our students.
